At Sparkner Appliances, we are committed to environmental sustainability and responsible waste management in compliance with India's E-Waste Management Rules, 2022 and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) framework.

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is an environmental policy that makes producers responsible for the collection, recycling, and safe disposal of their products after the end of their useful life.

Sparkner Appliances is dedicated to:

• Ensuring environmentally sound management of end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment.
• Complying with all applicable regulations issued by the Central Pollution
• Control Board (CPCB) and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC).
• Partnering with CPCB-authorized recyclers and dismantlers for safe recycling and disposal.
• Promoting responsible recycling practices to reduce environmental impact and conserve natural resources.

Under India's E-Waste Management Rules, producers are required to collect and recycle waste generated from their products and meet recycling targets through authorized recyclers and EPR certification.

This policy applies to all electrical appliances sold under the Sparkner Appliances brand, including but not limited to:

• Ceiling Fans
• Water Heaters
• Air Coolers
• Other electrical and electronic equipment covered under applicable EPR regulations

Sparkner Appliances shall:

• Obtain EPR registration and authorization from CPCB.
• Establish a system for collection and environmentally safe disposal of e-waste.
• Work with authorized recyclers for dismantling and recycling of end-of-life products.
• Meet applicable recycling targets as prescribed under the E-Waste Management Rules.
• Maintain records and submit required compliance reports to regulatory authorities.
• Encourage customers to dispose of products responsibly through authorized channels.

EPR shifts the responsibility of waste management from government authorities to producers, ensuring sustainable product lifecycle management.

Customers are encouraged to:

• Dispose of end-of-life products through authorized collection centers or recyclers.
• Avoid disposal of electrical products in general household waste.
• Participate in responsible recycling to help protect the environment.
